Personal Remote Tech Support
Real tech help from a real person
— IN PLAIN ENGLISH.
Slow computer, email trouble, or a printer that will not connect? Tell me what is going on. I will explain whether I can help remotely and how the work will be charged before we start.
Help with everyday technology.
Sutton Tech Support is one person: me, Nicholas. I provide patient remote tech support for seniors, families, and small businesses, in plain English and at your pace. I help people in the Florida Keys and around New Braunfels, Texas, by phone and remote connection. No bots. No runaround. Just real tech help.
Computers & devices
Slow, frozen, acting strange, or brand new in the box. Windows and Mac both, plus phones and tablets.
What I fixWi-Fi, printers & smart home
Internet that drops, printers that will not print, and smart devices that stopped listening.
What I fixEmail & Microsoft 365
Locked-out accounts, missing mail, passwords, and the Office apps small businesses run on.
What I fixNot sure what you need? Start with what is bugging you.
Four steps, start to finish.

Meet Nicholas
"Hi, I'm Nicholas. I make tech support feel human again."
I have been fixing everyday technology for people since my years behind the RadioShack repair counter. What I learned there still holds: most tech problems are simple to fix, and nobody should be made to feel small for asking. You will always talk to me, never a call center.
More about meClient reviews
In a client's words.
"Tech Guru Nick Sutton saved my A** again! This was the second time this year that I was hacked by a Trojan Horse Virus. Nick was quickly able to obstruct the attempts by the fraudster to gain access to my bank and investment accounts. Then, he assisted me in securing all of my accounts with new, unique randomized passwords that could never be duplicated. I sleep well at night, just knowing that my Tech Guru friend is on the job and able to promptly come to my assistance. I highly recommend Nick Sutton."

"I first met Nicholas when he worked at RadioShack in the Winn-Dixie shopping center in Big Pine Key, Florida. I was very impressed with his knowledge of computers and phones and techie devices that I know nothing about. I was very sorry when he left the Keys, but I made sure I had a way to keep in contact with him, and I'm so glad I did. He really knows how to make ornery phones and computers and tablets do what they're supposed to do. He always comes through with some kind of a solution. It's not always that easy to find even a RadioShack in the Keys anymore, so he's my lifeline to sanity."

Answers, up front.
How much does it cost?
Memberships start at $39 a month, and every plan includes unlimited quick questions: one small thing, solved on the spot. Family Tech Care and Concierge also include hands-on work time every month. Beyond included time, hands-on work bills at your plan's discounted member rate: $75, $70, or $65 an hour. You always know before we start. And if you refer someone you care about, after their first month you each get a month free.
How does remote support work? Is it safe?
Safety is the whole point of doing it this way. You approve every remote session, and you watch everything I do on your screen the entire time. I will never call you out of the blue. I will never ask for gift cards, wire transfers, or your banking password. And if someone claiming to be me ever contacts you, hang up and call the number on this site: (512) 893-7774.
What if my problem takes longer than a quick question?
Most quick questions are solved on the spot. If it needs real hands-on time, I tell you plainly and we schedule it. Family Tech Care and Concierge include hands-on time every month, and beyond that it bills at your member rate: $75/hr on Basic, $70/hr on Family Tech Care, $65/hr on Concierge. No surprises on your bill, ever.
What do you help with?
Windows and Mac computers, phones and tablets, Wi-Fi and internet trouble, printers, email, Microsoft 365, smart home devices, new device setup, scam worries, and the everyday questions in between. If it plugs in or connects, it is fair game. See the full list on the Services page.
What if you can't fix it?
I will tell you straight. If something cannot be fixed remotely or is not worth fixing, I say so, walk you through your options, and point you to the right next step. What you will never get from me is runaround.
